Dennis Costakos, MD
Dr. Costakos was born and raised in New York City. A graduate of Bronx High School of Science, an early decision to Columbia University (1980 Biochemistry), where he was elected to the student senate and became student representative to the Columbia University Trustees (1978-1980). At graduation, he was awarded the George Curtis Prize in oratory for a speech about a controversial medical therapy. Dr.Costakos then went on to Dartmouth Medical School in 1984. He was a summer NIH Fellow in 1982.
Dr. Costakos completed his postgraduate training in Pediatrics at Mount Sinai, then went on to finish a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the New York-Presbyterian Cornell campus. He published the world’s 4th case of Lupus and hypothermia in the Journal of Rheumatology. Dr. Costakos’s research at Cornell focused on cardiac output in neonates, which was published in Critical Care Medicine, and printed at the Society of Pediatric Research, Washington DC, 1989.
For the past 31 years, Dr. Costakos has practiced as a Neonatologist and served as a medical school faculty. Dr. Costakos is licensed in Minnesota, New York, and Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
In 2000, Dr. Costakos served as the president of the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care, where he is currently a board member.
Dr. Costakos has vast experience in the creation and testing of medical software, and his main aim is to create value for patients.

Mengyi “Zed” Zha, MD
Dr. Mengyi Zha is a board-certified family physician. She practiced full-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics in Washington state for three years from 2019-2022 and is currently completing a fellowship in dermatology. She obtained her Medical Doctor degree from Dartmouth Medical School in 2016, where she graduated with the Gold Humanism honor, and the Community Service Award. She completed her residency training at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, where she received the Residency Research Award.
Dr.Zha’s publications are in the fields of COVID-19, family medicine, public health, neonatology, medicinal chemistry, and cardiothoracic surgery. She also has a background in mathematics and chemistry. Dr. Zha served as a clinical instructor for the University of Washington School of Medicine's rural family medicine track. Currently, she is actively teaching students clinically and engaging in academic research projects as the principal investigator.
Additionally, Dr. Zha has always committed to serving underserved populations, from her work with the homeless population both in the United States and China, to her work in starting the first student-run free clinic in China, her global health work in China, Tanzania, and Honduras, she has demonstrated humanism and compassion all throughout her career.
